Morocco To Receive $1.2Bn In Soft Loans From Spain
Morocco and Spain signed an economic protocol on 6 February under which Rabat will receive from Spain loans amounting to 150bn pesetas ($1.2bn) by the year 2000. According to Moroccan Finance Minister Muhammad Kabbaj, 60bn pesetas ($484mn) of these credits will be in the form of low-interest loans.
