OPEC Output Rose To 25.85MN B/D In March
After peaking at 26mn b/d in January and dropping back to 25.62mn b/d in February, OPEC crude oil production climbed by 230,000 b/d above the previous month to reach 25.85mn b/d in March, according to MEES estimates (see table overleaf). This translates into an average of 25.82mn b/d for the first quarter, some 1.3mn b/d above the official quota ceiling of 24.52mn b/d.
