Tullow May Start Oil Production By Year-End

MEES understands that Ireland's Tullow Oil is hoping to complete formalities by mid-year for declaring the commerciality of the oil discovery it made in early 1995 in the East Ash Sham permit in eastern Syria which borders on Al- Furat Petroleum Company's producing fields (MEES, 27 February 1995).
