Iran To Set Up Energy Investment Firm
The Acting Iranian Minister of Energy, Dr. Majid Qassemi, has announced that an energy investment company will be set up in May to channel private capital into large electricity and water projects. The Niru Investment Company (NIC) will be initially capitalized at IR1bn ($333,333), about 60% of which has been paid up by the founders.
