QNB Profits From Released Provisions
Strong growth in net interest income and (another) unusual release in general provisioning have allowed the dominant bank in Qatar, Qatar National Bank (QNB), to produce a modest 5% increase in headline profits to QR289mn ($79.4mn) in 1995.
