Iran Takes Delivery Of First South Korean Tanker
The National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC) on 30 May took delivery of the first of five 300,000 dwt VLCCs ordered in 1993 from the South Korean firm Daewoo Shipping and Heavy Machinery Company at a cost of $490mn (MEES, 22 April).
