Sudan Increases Gasoline And Diesel Prices
The Sudanese Government announced price increases for domestic fuels with effect from 4 June, with a 47% increase in the price of motor gasoline from S1,700 ($1.60 at the current market rate of S1,060 = $1.00) to S2,500 ($2.36) per gallon, and a 60% increase in the price of diesel oil from S750 ($0.71) per gallon to S1,200 ($1.13) per gallon.
