'Alaw Estimates Shale Oil Deposits In Syria At 37Bn Tons
Syrian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Sufian 'Alaw announced at the end of last month that there are indications of the presence of large deposits of shale oil rocks in the Khanasir area in Aleppo, estimated at 37bn tons with a thickness of 240ms.
