Work On Iran-Turkmenistan Gasline Gets Underway
MEES is reliably informed that work is progressing on the construction of a new 40-inch gasline from the onshore oil and gas field of Korpedzhe in Turkmenistan to north Iran. The onshore gasline will run along the eastern side of the Caspian Sea and will link up with a 30-inch gasline in the existing Iranian network, south of the Caspian, with a capacity to deliver up to 8-9bn cu. ms./year of natural gas...
