Chase Wins Two Saudi Mandates
The US investment bank Chase Manhattan is reported by Associated Press to have been awarded the mandate to arrange financing for two large Saudi projects. The first is the recently announced SCECO-West power station at Shuaiba, believed to be worth $2bn, for which tenders are currently being sought; and the second is the construction of a long-awaited 482,000t/y benzene complex at Jubail on behalf of a joint venture...
