Maintenance Scheduled For Skikda Refinery In August
Algeria's Skikda refinery is scheduled to undergo maintenance beginning mid-August and ending in late September. Output at the 310,000 b/d refinery is expected to drop by half, possibly affecting European naphtha markets. The work calls for Skikda to close its two crude units, one after another, for about three weeks each. Some of the shortfall in output will be made up from storage.
