Israel and the Lebanese group Hizbollah have exchanged prisoners (and bodies) in a deal mediated by Germany. French and US envoys have been touring the region in an attempt to breathe new life into the peace process, and Palestinian leader Yasir 'Arafat has met for the first time with a senior member of Israel's new government, Foreign Minister David Levy.
