Oman Opens Trade Office In Israel
The Omani Government on 11 August opened a commercial interests office in Tel Aviv, the first Arab Gulf state to open an economic representation office with Israel. Oman and Israel agreed in January to exchange trade missions in an effort to normalize relations (MEES, 5 February) and Israel opened its office in Muscat in May. Israel has reportedly proposed a number of joint ventures with Oman in various fields...
