Security Council Threatens Sudan With Further Sanctions
The UN Security Council passed a resolution on 16 August threatening Sudan with further sanctions if it did not extradite to Ethiopia within 90 days three Egyptians alleged to have participated in an assassination attempt against Egyptian President Husni Mubarak in Addis Ababa in June 1995. UN Secretary General Butros Ghali is to report back to the Council by 15 November on Sudan's compliance....
