Libyan Oil Industry Under Investigation
The Libyan authorities have appointed an anti-corruption committee to investigate the oil sector. The investigation, coming on top of US sanctions and the UN embargo, as well as the transfer of the headquarters of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and the operating companies to Ras Lanuf, is believed to be causing problems for the local oil industry.
