Iraq To Sign Oil Drilling Contract With Romania's Rompetrol
The Iraqi National Assembly (parliament) has authorized the Ministry of Oil to sign a contract with Romania's Rompetrol worth $26.5mn to drill 48 oil wells with payment to be made in crude oil over a two year period after the sanctions are lifted, according to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) on 17 October.
