KFAEBLends Lebanon $20MnThe Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) will lend LebanonKD6mn ($20mn) to help finance part of the construction cost of a newcoastal highway in Beirut. The loan agreement, which was signed on19 October, stipulates an interest rate of 3% per annum. Completion of thehighway project is expected at the end of 1999.
