LibyaTo Settle Part Of Its Debt To Turkish ContractorsAccording to Turkish contractors, Libya has agreed to make afirst payment of $40mn on total outstanding debtof $350mn owed to them for infrastructure projects completed inLibya. Libya and Turkey reached an agreement in 1994 to settle some $120mnof the outstanding debt between the two countries, but Libya had failed toabide by the agreement.
