First Phase Of BCCI Settlement Nears The Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will settle the claims of small depositors of the collapsed Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) in December. Those depositors who had up to, but not more than, Dh20,000 ($5,445) deposited with BCCI on 5 July 1995 will be reimbursed in full.
