Norway's Saga Wins Bidding To Purchase KPC's North Sea Holdings

The Norwegian independent oil company Saga Petroleum has won out in the bidding to purchase the North Sea holdings of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC). It was announced on 4 December that Saga had agreed to buy the KPC-owned KP North Sea Holdings Ltd. (Santa Fe Exploration) for $1.23bn.
