Egyptian Firm To Double Urea Production Capacity
Egypt's Abu Qir Fertilisers and Chemical Industries said on 24 November thatit is studying a project to increase urea production capacity by 600,000 tons ayear at a cost of Eœ1bn ($295mn). In 1993 the company, in which the state has amajority share, produced 520,000 tons.
