Turkey Plans To Import 2Mn T/Y Of Qatari LNG

Turkish Energy Minister Veysel Atasoy and Qatari Energy Minister 'Abd Allahal-'Attiyah are scheduled to sign on 7 January a memorandum of understandingproviding for the import by Ankara of 2mn tons/year of Qatari liquefied naturalgas (LNG). Negotiations on the deal are expected to take place throughout thecoming year with a view to finalizing a sale and purchase agreement.
