Bank Results
Gulf International Bank's Profits Drop By 15% In 1995
Bahrain-based Gulf International Bank (GIB) has reported profits of $74.8mnfor 1994, a fall of 15% on the previous year. The balance sheet grew by 6% to$5,574.2mn. These figures are audited and approved by the board, but must beratified by the annual shareholders' meeting, which will be held on 27 March. In1993 the bank made a profit of $52.3mn on trading securities....
