Suez CanalRevenue Drops 2.5% In 1994
Revenue fromEgypt's Suez Canal fell by 2.5% to $1.96bn in 1994, according to a report fromEgypt's Cabinet Information Center. The report also said that the number of vessels transiting the Canal fell to 16,370 in 1994 from 17,312 in 1993. Thenumber of oil tankers dropped to 2,772 from 3,185.
