Iran As An Exporter

The imbalance between US and European/Japanese trading interests is even morestark when viewed from the perspective of exports received from Iran. Sixty onepercent of Iran's exports went to the industrialized countries of Europe in1993. In that year none at all went to the US. With the exception of 1991, whenit had exports of $237mn, Iran's exports to the US were minimal in the previousfive years.
