National Bank Of Egypt Leads Second Egyptian Bond Issue Of Recent Times
National Bank of Egypt (NBE) is to launch a Eœ70mn ($20.6mn) bond issue forthe local Victoria United Hotels Company on 26 March. The offer will be only thesecond bond issue in Egypt since the 1950s. The first was for Hoechst Orient inMay last year. That issue was led by Banque Paribas and was for Eœ30mn (MEES,11 July and 16 May 1994).
