Kuwait Plans To Raise Production Capacity To 3.5Mn B/D By 2005
Kuwait plans to raise its crude oil production capacity to 3.5mn b/d by theyear 2005, according to Mr. 'Abd al-Muhsin al-Mud'ij, the Kuwaiti Oil Minister,in an address on 28 March to an oil conference in Johannesburg, South Africa.The Kuwaiti Minister said that his country plans to invest some $15bn over thenext 10 years to raise oil output capacity and expand downstream operations.
