Private Sector Credit Rises By 43% In Kuwait In 1994
Credit extended by Kuwaiti commercial banks to the local private sector roseby 42% in 1994, according to figures published by the Central Bank of Kuwait.The rise is attributable both to a genuine increase in business activity andto a rebound after credit was squeezed by new regulations introduced at theend of 1992.
