Bank Results
ABC Reports 25% Growth In Underlying Profits For 1994
Bahrain-based Arab Banking Corporation (ABC) has announced a 22% fall in itsheadline profits for the year to 31 December 1994. Net profits for the year were$105mn, as against $135mn in 1993. If, however, a $51mn gain on disposal of aninvestment is factored out of 1993 operating income, profits in 1994 were up 25%on the previous year.
