Sidqi Puts Egypt's Foreign Debt At $29Bn
The Egyptian Prime Minister, Mr. 'Atif Sidqi, has said that Egypt's externaldebt fell to $29bn in 1995 from $44bn in 1991, when the economic reform programbegan. He also noted that the Egyptian Government is now allocating LE22bn annually from its budget to service its internal and external debt.
