OPEC Production Rose To 25.24Mn B/D In August
OPEC's crude oil production rose to 25.24mn b/d in August, an increase of120,000 b/d over the previous month's level of 25.12mn b/d, according to MEESestimates (see table below). The August increment, which brought OPEC output tomore than 700,000 b/d in excess of the official production ceiling of 24.52mnb/d, was due mainly to volume increases in Venezuela, Nigeria and Iran.
