Kuwait To Pay Off $800Mn Of Sovereign Loan
An official in the Kuwait Investment Authority says that Kuwait will pay thesecond $800mn tranche of its $5.5bn sovereign loan "in the first half ofSeptember" on time and in accordance with the terms of the original loanagreement signed in 1991. Kuwait paid over the first tranche, also worth $800mn,in June of this year.
