Aid Funds
New Name For Abu Dhabi Fund
The Abu Dhabi Fund for Arab Economic Development is to be renamed the AbuDhabi Development Fund. The change is being made to reflect the breadth of thefund's work, which includes financing projects in Asia and Africa as well as athome. The fund was committing about $30mn per year during the mid and late1980s. This rose to $100mn in 1989.
