Kuwait Gathers 17.3Mn Barrels From Oil Lakes
Kuwait has gathered 17.3mn barrels of weathered crude from the oil lakes thatwere formed as a result of the destruction of oil wells during the withdrawalof Iraqi forces. An estimated 4.7mn barrels remain to be gathered and thecleaning up operation is scheduled for completion in March of next year.
