Egypt's Gas Reserves Now Stand At 21 TCF
The gas discoveries made over the past two years have raised Egypt's gasreserves from 12 trillion cubic feet (tcf) to 21 tcf, according to Egyptian OilMinister Hamdi al-Banbi. The Minister said that the development of the newreserves would require about Eœ18bn ($5.3bn), with an additional Eœ10bn ($3bn)for gas export projects.
