Jasir Named Head Of GCC Monetary Council
The Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) Muhammad al-Jasir was elected first chairman of the GCC Monetary Council at its inaugural meeting in Riyadh on 30 March. The Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, Rashid al-Maraj, was named as deputy chairman of the council.
