Saudi Cairo Bank Issues First Dividend Since Early 1980s
Jiddah-based Saudi Cairo Bank has declared a 59% increase in profits for 1993- the biggest so far by a Saudi bank - and declared a 10.5% dividend, its firstsince the early 1980s. Deputy General Manager Andre van Hove says the bank isexpecting another large increase in profits during the present year, althoughnot quite as much as 59%. The balance sheet grew by 16%...
