Iraq Again Rejects Limited Oil Sales Resolutions
The Iraqi Government has once again rejected UN Security Council resolutions706 and 712 on limited Iraqi oil sales. Iraqi Vice President Taha Yasin Ramadhantold the Bahgdad daily al-Jumhuriyah on 6 February that Iraq "wants to liftthe embargo and resume oil exports in a manner that would not violate ourindependence and national sovereignty. We want to sell and buy withoutinterference from any other forces."...
