Egypt Agrees Solar Cells Venture
Egypt has agreed to build a $460mn solar cells factory with an unnamed Dutch company, state news agency MENA reported on 20 March. The plant will have capacity to produce 3,000 tons/year of polysilicon and 1,500 t/y of gas used in the manufacture of solar cells.
