Inflation
Consumer prices rose by 15% in the 12 months to the end of June 1993,compared to 9.7% in the 12 months to June 1992. The biggest price increases wereseen in transport and communications and furniture and household items. Priceincreases in food and clothing, over which the government has a degree of director indirect control, were less than the overall average.
