ConstructionBegins On Tabriz Lubricating Oils Plant
Iranian OilMinister Gholamreza Agazadeh attended a ceremony on 15 March in Tabriz markingthe start of construction on a 200,000 tons/year lube oil plant. The new plantis located next to the 110,000 b/d Tabriz refinery and will cost $250mn in hardcurrency plus IR280bn ($160mn) which will go towards local expenses. It isscheduled to be completed in four years.
