EGPC Approves Expansion Of West 'Ish Al-Mallaha Concession

The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) has approved the additionof 152 sq. kms. to the 1,582-sq. km. West 'Ish al-Mallaha onshore tract on theEgyptian mainland west of the Gulf of Suez, which was awarded to Coplex, theTasmania-based Australian firm, in July 1993 (MEES, 26 July 1993).
