PDVSA Names New President, Announces 1993 Results

Venezuela's Energy Minister, Mr. Erwin Arrieta, has announced that Mr. LuisGiusti will be the new President of the state oil company Petroleos de VenezuelaS.A. (PDVSA). Mr. Giusti replaces Mr. Gustavo Roosen, who has been asked to heada government panel investigating a failed bank. Mr. Giusti leaves his post asvice-president at the PDVSA affiliate Maraven to assume his new post on 27April.
