Iraq Encouraged By Security Council Developments

Iraq has muted its criticism of the Security Council and has found that thereare "positive, important developments" which should be followed upduring the next two months, despite the fact that the Security Council votedunanimously last month to renew the sanctions, with all indications pointing totheir lasting at least until the end of the year.
