Shahristani Bullish On Restart Of Kurdish Exports As Political Talks Continue
Crude exports from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) area of Northern Iraq, frozen since last September, could restart within the month, Iraqi Minister of Oil Husain al-Shahristani says. Speaking to reporters in Vienna last week, Dr Shahristani also said Iraq would not begin talks to rejoin OPECs quota system until production exceeded 4mn b/d.
