Deflation Emerging In Some MENA Countries, Says Emirates NDB
Inflation rates across the GCC have fallen precipitously since late 2008, when economic crisis engulfed the region. According to Emirates NBDs March Economic Insights, setting aside Kuwait, the average rate of inflation in the region has fallen by over half, from approximately 10% year-on-year in mid-2008 to 4% in Saudi Arabia, and less than 2% in Bahrain and 1% in Oman....
