Gulf Air Appoints Advisors On Privatization
Gulf Investment Corporation, its commercial banking subsidiary GulfInternational Bank (GIB) and Chase Manhattan Bank have been appointed by GulfAir to advise on the airline's privatization. An agreement between the banks andGulf Air was signed in mid-May and the banks are expected to submit their reportin about three months. Gulf Air is owned by the Governments of Abu Dhabi,Bahrain, Oman and Qatar.
