Lebanon Hopes To Start Offshore Drilling In A Year
The Lebanese Minister of Industry and Oil, Dr. As'ad Rizq, said last weekthat he hopes oil drilling off the northern coast of Lebanon will start in ayear. Dr. Rizq added that two US oil companies - Pecten and Arco - have boughtthe results of a seismic survey of the area in question and that two othercompanies were expected to follow suit shortly.
