Banbi Inaugurates Three Oil Wells In Western Desert
On 14 June, Egyptian Oil Minister Hamdi al-Banbi inaugurated productionfrom three oil wells in Egypt's Western Desert. Two of them, Shuruq 1 andShuruq 2, are located in the Khalda tract operated by Khalda Petroleum Company,and the third, Zarif, is located in Agiba Petroleum's Meliha tract.
The output of Shuruq 1 is put at 2,600 b/d and Shuruq 2 is said to beproducing in commercial quantities. Khalda...
