IDB Finances Moroccan Pipeline
The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has extended a $26mn loan to Morocco'sSociete Cherifienne des Petroles (SCP) to part finance the construction of a14-inch crude oil pipeline between the oil terminal at Mohammadia and SCP'srefinery at Sidi Kacem. The 25-km. pipeline will initially carry 1.2mntons/year, rising to 3mn tons/year at a later stage. SCP imports crude andrefines it at Sidi Kacem.
